GROUP CREMATION
In home euthanasia includes the visit by Dr. Nestrick to your home where she will sedate your pet prior to the euthanasia procedure itself (an intravenous overdose of a barbiturate), transporting your pet's remains and a communal cremation (the cremains will not be returned to you). The total fee for this is $320.00 for any size dog or cat in the service area.

PRIVATE CREMATION
If you have your pet cremated privately, you will have the cremains returned to you. We can either have them sent UPS to your home or you may come to my home and pick them up. Here are the total fees for the private cremations (includes the visit in the service area, sedation, the euthanasia procedure, transport of remains, cremation and the cremains of your pet returned to you):

CATS and DOGS up to 20 pounds: $415.00
DOGS 21 to 50 pounds: $460.00
DOGS 51 to 70 pounds: $480.00
DOGS over 70 pounds: $520.00

Your pets cremains will be returned to you in a tasteful white plastic urn (box), assuming that you will be burying or sprinkling your pets ashes. Redwood and cedar urns are available for an additional fee. We also have an oak urn which has a place for your pet's photo.

NO  CREMATION
If you are going to be taking care of your pets remains yourself (for example, burying your pet on your own property), the total fee for the visit by Dr. Nestrick to your home, sedating your pet first and the euthanasia procedure itself (an intravenous overdose of a barbiturate) is $250.00. This is for any size dog or cat.
